Frequently asked questions

What is the insurance process?

Great question. Let us break it down for you in four steps:

1. Initial consultation

Either via phone, zoom,

or in person

We begin with a consultation to better understand your unique expectations.  Whether you’re looking to protect yourself, your family, or your business, we take the time to tailor our approach to your specific situation.

2. Recommendation

We source the best insurance options designed for your needs and guide you through every step of the process - making it simple, seamless, and stress-free.

3. Review time

We review your coverage with you each year to ensure your information is up to date and your insurance remains relevant.  As life changes, your insurance should evolve with it.

4. Claim time

We act as your dedicated advocate during the claims process - managing everything from start to finish and ensuring your insurance works for you when you need it most.

What is the "Duty of Disclosure"?

You must share all relevant information about your health, history, and business when applying for a new policy. Providing full details ensures that if you ever need to make a claim, there are no contentious issues.

What exactly is a "Premium"?

A premium is the regular payment you make to keep your insurance active. These can usually be paid fortnightly, monthly, or annually. The cost is calculated based on a number of factors like your age, health, and occupation.

How often should I review my insurance?

We recommend a review at least once a year. However, you should also reach out if you have a major life change - like buying a house, starting a family, or expanding your business - to ensure your cover still matches your current situation.

Why should I use a broker instead of going direct?

Working with a broker means you aren't just a policy number in a database. They will help you choose the right insurance and stand beside you when you need it the most.
